Volleyball

Here are pictures of Kjirsten and Breanne that were in the paper.Breanne isn't fond of the last picture, but she really doesn't like any of her pictues. I took some pictures at the game the other day, and they really didn't look good at all. By the time the camera took the picture the ball was on the other side of the net, and the girls were all moved to a different location of the court. So, I will let you see the picture that the newspaper photographer captured.

Wednesday

Mr. Turtle

One day as I was walking out to get the mail, I found Mr. Turtle crossing our driveway. He was kind of cute. The other day I saw another turtle in our garden trying to get out through the deer fence. He wasn't very successful. I suppose he eventually found a way out because I haven't seen him lately.

My Sister Kim came to visit me the end of last month. It was fun having her here.........I just wish that she could come more often. We went to volleyball games, she helped me throw a birthday party, she attended a Primary party with me, and we went to the Biltmore in North Carolina. Warren and I went there for our anniversary, so I know that you have already seen pictures, but here are a few different ones.

Friday

Pink Party

TaraLyn turned 15 in August. We went crazy with the color pink and invited some of her friends over for a party. My sister Kim was here to help me create a pink room on our front porch. We had icicle lights hanging on the railing and it was really pretty in the evening as it started to get dark. We had a pink bubblegum blowing contest, the girls ran all over the house looking for pink dots, they had to remember all of the pink items on the tray, and they wrote and drew sentences with the word pink in them. I think that they had a great time.

Tennessee Happenings

It has been FOREVER ago since I posted anything. I can't believe that the last post was the first day of school......the kids just brought home midterm grades yesterday. I think that I better tell you what we have been up to. Warren has been working quite a bit. He has had several scout activities with his 11 yr old scouts. I have enjoyed a week with my sister Kim..............she came to visit me. Kjirsten, Breanne, and TaraLyn have been trying to fit seminary, school, volleyball, mutual, and homework all in. Kjirsten and Breanne are recovering from some minor volleyball injuries that kept them out of the game for a week or so. Kjel is eleven today. Happy Birthday Kjel. He is having a "boy party" at Fun Expedition with his dad, brother, two friends, and one cousin. They will play laser tag, go carts, etc and eat at the pizza buffet. What more could an eleven year old boy want! Clayton is playing soccer and enjoying cub scouts. That is what is happening around here.
