Pink Party

TaraLyn turned 15 in August. We went crazy with the color pink and invited some of her friends over for a party. My sister Kim was here to help me create a pink room on our front porch. We had icicle lights hanging on the railing and it was really pretty in the evening as it started to get dark. We had a pink bubblegum blowing contest, the girls ran all over the house looking for pink dots, they had to remember all of the pink items on the tray, and they wrote and drew sentences with the word pink in them. I think that they had a great time.

Are you still finding polka dots or have they all been found? It was fun to be there and help out with the party! Thanks for letting me "recover" from my illness at your house. :)

Happy late b-day, TaraLyn! Hayley and I loved looking at your pictures of the Pink Party. Hayley says "It looks like a castle." (She told me to tell you that.) We had to enlarge the food pics to see what yummy stuff you made. Wow! What fun!

OK - I just figured out how to read my comments on my blog!!! It was SO MUCH FUN to see your comment and find your blog.

What a fun party! A memory your family will never forget!

Looking through all your news made me realize how long you have been gone and how the kids have grown. I know that is what life is all about. I have such fond memories of when you were here and can't help but wish you were all here to have more!

Love you a TON!
