This year I learned something new. Rug Hooking. It is a very old craft that a nice lady in my ward has been teaching me. We hook on a linen cloth with strips of wool. The lady in my ward actually dies the wool material to make it the color that we want, then we have this nifty little cutter that cuts the material into strips. Here is a picture of my rug at the very beginning and then later when I had more done.

Way to go...it is looking good. I think it is really cool that you are learning this lost art. Plus I laugh when you say you are going to your hooking class. tee hee
Okay I will let your deadline laps as I actually see what your project is. It seems to me that it would be harder then my quilt. Espically since I haven't picked up my quilt project in a few weeks. So you officially have my permission to change your deadline to after Christmas.
Marta, I am a very modivated hooker and I plan on getting this done way before Christmas. So, I am not letting you get out of your goal of getting your quilt done by Christmas.
