Warren's mother Lois Ruth Jones passed away on February 24th after her battle with Leukemia. We all loved her dearly and will miss her. She was a wonderful example of a righteous daughter of God who spent her time serving the Lord and others. At her funeral the bishop told a story about how he had visited her at the hospital a few days before she passed away and he had asked her what he could do for her. She replied that she didn't need anything but was wondering what she could do for the ward. The week before she had gone blind in one eye and the other was doing the same. She was not in any condition to be serving but she felt as if she should be. I am grateful for the wonderful mother-in-law that she was to me. She always loved me and made me feel like part of the family. I always wished that she would have lived closer to my mother because I know that they would have been good friends. They are so much alike. I am grateful for the time that her and my father-in-law were able to live with us last year. It was a great bonding time for the kids to get to know their grandparents better.
We were able to travel to Rexburg, Idaho for the funeral. All of her twelve children, spouses, and 45 living grandchildren were able to attend.
