TaraLyn began cello lessons back in third grade at Columbia Elementary with Mrs. Lopushinsky as her teacher. She has dreamed of having her very own cello ever since. Every Christmas and every birthday she would say that she wanted a cello. A few days after her 16th birthday her dreams came true when her beautiful new cello came Fed Ex from California. A week or so later she found out that she would be first chair in her High School Orchestra. She started taking private lessons this year. I have a video clip of her playing around on her new cello. Sorry that it is side ways, I keep forgetting that I can't turn the camera that way to video tape.

Awesome TaraLyn! It is so wonderful to have your own instrament. I was a lot older than you when I got mine. Way to go! You sound great! Almost as good as an oboe(O:
My kids really liked watching you play the cello, TaraLyn! (Even though it was sideways.) Congrats on getting your own, and on being 1st chair!
I love it when dreams come true! I am so happy that TaraLyn finally got her dream...at such a tender age.
