My new rug..........

This rug I am making for my hallway bathroom. The bathroom is green. I wanted to bring in some oranges and reds so this is what I came up with. Oh, I had to put a little bit of periwinkle purple in to make it pop (that is what my rug hooking instructor Helen told me. Of course the purple is my favorite color but I am liking the reds and oranges too)

This is a picture of the pattern drawn onto the linen. The colored fabric is dyed wool. I will cut it into strips and pull it through the linen to make little loops. This is my first circle rug. Here are some pictures of the rug during the process of making it.





The following pictures I have finished all of the flowers and the background around them. Now I plan on working on the rest of the background while listening to General Conference. I should be finished soon.
