My sister Marta came to visit for 10 days. We did some sight seeing, a few projects, and ran kids to games. Marta got to see the crazy life that I have in the beautiful part of the country that I live. She had a hard time believing that it was the end of September and beginning of October because we were having 80 degree weather. One day we went to Gatlinburg in the Smokey Mountains. It was interesting and reminded us a little bit of Leavenworth WA. We went to Watauga Lake one day. The day that she flew out we visited Asheville North Carolina. We wanted to see the Biltmore Estate but didn't have enough time. Marta helped me paint a new dining room table. We finished the table and one of the eight chairs by the time that she left. Since then I have finished three more chairs. Only four to go. We saw Kjel's first football game, several of Clayton's soccer games, and many of the girls volleyball games. As always, fun pics! I love seeing your projects, Kristen. When I saw the picture of Marta in TaraLyn's glasses, I said to myself, "Wow, she looks like TaraLyn!"
