Here we are planting our garden. Each kid gets to take care of one planter box. Clayton planted beans, carrots, and lettuce.
Kjel planted peppers and peas

Breanne planted rhubarb, sweet potatoes, and a few tomatoes.
Kjirsten planted spinach, beats, onions, radishes, and cabbages.

It has been years since we have had a garden. The kids had a good time planting and so far haven't had too big of a fit weeding. They have only had to weed their plot once.
This is what it looks like three weeks after planting. Notice the plants off to the side. Warren planted squash, cucumbers, watermelon, cantelope, zucchini, etc. off to the side.

Wow, look at those plants! They are growing like crazy. Looks like you will have a good crop of veggies to eat! I hope mine produces.
That's a great idea to put each kid in charge of a planter box! For now, we only have room for one box, and Neal's in charge of it. I like that. Now that it's finally started to warm up here, we might have a chance to grow something this summer!
kylie loves kj bebroom. The garden is really growing and the lake looks like alot of fun. Miss you all
