I was really dragging my feet about decorating easter eggs. I am not the fun mom that I use to be. I finally decided that we should do it for Clayton's sake. I was surprised how excited everyone was. And the best thing about it is that no one needed help, no one spilled the dye everywhere, and the eggs turned out pretty cute. I started to take pictures and all of the girls freaked out because they didn't look good for pictures. So we only have pictures of eggs.

Clayton's Eggs
We decorated the eggs on Friday because the kids were out of school. The boys had a cub scout activity on Saturday morning. While they were gone the girl easter bunnies hid the eggs and then went to work. When the boys came home they went looking for the eggs. We kept finding eggs for a few days. I guess the easter bunnies are pretty good at hiding their eggs.

Wow! What beautiful eggs! You give me hope that dyeing eggs will get more enjoyable as children get older... Last year no one had fun at all -- it was like a big grouch-fest with me snapping pictures the whole time to preserve the "great" memories. This year was a little better! You still seem like a fun mom to me...
The eggs turned out cute! I guess that is the benefit of having older kids decorating the eggs.
