Warren and I went on a Cruise!

We went on a 7 day cruise to the Western Caribbean. I was planning on being warm for a week. However, there was a hurricane in the Eastern Caribbean which caused big waves and windy weather so we were inside where the air conditioning made me cold. I only laid out on deck twice the whole cruise. Both times it was overcast and windy. So, lucky me, I didn't even get sunburned or tan. It was pretty rocky and rainy for the first few days that we were gone. It cleared up as we arrived in Samana Dominican Republic. It was a beautiful day as we visited the D.R. I was on a hunt for a Larimar Stone. Which was easy to find. I felt like we were being attacked by all of the natives. Kids were everywhere asking for money.


The next stop was St. Thomas. We decided to do more shopping there. The third stop was Tortolla in the British Islands. We hired someone to drive us all over the island. It was very informative and beautiful.


As we made our way back to Miami we were going to stop at the Bahamas. It was our plan to do the beach that day and try out some snorkeling. But that morning we heard the announcement that the waves were to big to take tenders into shore, so we wouldn't be stopping there. It was a bummer. They served all of us rum punch since we didn't get to go to the island. We just had punch. We did have a great time. The food was good. We enjoyed the entertainment and classes that they had on the ship. It was fun to get away for a week. Next time we will have to take the family.
